This exhibition highlights the way local Chinese newspapers played a role in maintaining the culture and identity of the Chinese community in Singapore. These newspapers also helped shape public opinion, educate the general public and improve the literacy levels among the Chinese community.

The exhibition will be available at at Our Tampines Hub from 13 to 26 September 2021.
