This exhibition will provide insights into Dr. Sun's personal life with a special focus on his wife, Madam Soong Ching Ling. Madam Soong is regarded as a supporter of the Chinese democratic revolution and a champion for women's rights, welfare for children, nationalism and patriotism. The exhibition will also highlight her efforts in championing Dr. Sun's causes after his death, and her achievements in the development of modern China. She was conferred the title of “Honorary President of the People's Republic of China” by National People's Congress Standing Committee in 1981 for her profound contributions and Madam Soong is the only person to ever hold this title. Madam Soong is unmistakably one of the greatest women in the 20th Century.

Over 134 heritage objects ranging from photographs to personal belongings of Dr. Sun and Madam Soong will be displayed in this special exhibition, showcasing the life journey of Madam Soong from birth till old age and highlighting her experiences and involvement in the major milestones in the history of China.
