1. LIVE Showcase and Appreciation of Traditional/Classical Musical Instruments 

Do you know much about traditional musical instruments such as the oud, Indian bamboo flute and the dizi. How do they sound and do they have anything in common? Come with your friends and family to enjoy a live performance by 3 classical musicians and at the same time, learn more about these instruments.

2. Free drop-in craft activities

Learn about the shared commonalities across the major ethnic cultures in Singaporeans. Fun drop-in activities have been planned at the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall where you can customize your own unique tote bags with block prints or make your own shadow puppet figurines!

3. Special Exhibition Guided Tours

Delve into the world of Nian Hua, woodblock prints used in the past to decorate Chinese homes for the Lunar New Year with a guided tour of our Nian Hua: Of Deities, Guardians and Auspicious Art special exhibition!

4. Permanent Gallery Guided Tours

Join us for a guided tour of Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall and hear the stories behind this century-old villa that trace Dr. Sun Yat Sen’s revolutionary activities in Southeast Asia. Gain valuable insights on the impact of the 1911 Revolution on Singapore, as well as Singapore’s contributions to the Revolution.
